Ed Flynn announces his return to Flynndex - to provide in-person, broad based market data training to both prepare market data professionals with the foundation to achieve the FIA Certification as well as to gain insight and perspectives for a successful career in market data.  Flynndex market data training is designed to provide a knowledge transfer to the next generation of market data executives with colorful, lively, and engaging sessions to further develop the skills related to successful completion of the FIA Certification Exam.

 

Personalized instruction with Ed Flynn, a market data executive with a lifetime (over 40 years) of experience which include roles both as a vendor and consumer.  Industry experience includes buy side asset management, hedge funds, institutional broker/dealer, retail on-line brokerage, banking, low latency trading, exchange management & audits, market making, negotiation and market data training and industry leadership including FISD and as an Advisor to the US equities exchanges.

Ed was the primary author of the “Markets” segment of the FIA Syllabus and was instrumental in the initial online FIA training videos.  Ed is currently retired but remains active in the market data industry and currently serves on the new US Exchange “CT Plan” Advisory Committee as the Retail Investor Representative.
